Community Foundation Wakefield District
We Champion local causes, bridging the gap between those in need and those that are able to help.
Our District has a fantastic history, is vibrant, enjoys good economic growth yet large inequalities still remain. We offer a range of services to enable us all to give something back to our community.
We have already distributed £1.4m to over 1000 local causes.

Wakefield is the 65th most deprived district in England (out of 326 districts)

Wakefield District holds a special place in our heart and it is our aim to help address the specific needs of our distric by creating funds and distributing them to local causes
