Coronavirus Support Fund

Applications are now open for this fund which is designed to support small organisations within the Wakefield Metropolitan District who have played, and are continuing to play, an important part in supporting vulnerable people during the current pandemic.

Fuel Poverty Campaign

Following the continuing harsh effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, many more communities are likely to suffer the effects of fuel poverty, this winter.

Women’s Fund

The Community Foundation for Wakefield District is setting up this new fund to support groups helping vulnerable women of all ages with complex needs.

So far we have awarded over £1.7 million pounds to charities, community groups and individuals in need.

Applications are now open for this fund which is designed to support small organisations within the Wakefield Metropolitan District who have played, and are continuing to play, an important part in supporting vulnerable people during the current pandemic.

The fund is being made available as a result of investment by WDHCS in the Foundation’s Endowment Fund and through the #WakefieldCares campaign.

If you fulfil the funding criteria outlined, then please complete and return the application form (below) along with the requested supporting documents. The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Thursday 4^th February, 2021.
